I have been a piano student of Lana for many years, and she is an extraordinary music teacher! She is a patient and dedicated teacher who aims to make her students the best musicians they can possibly be. I would not have achieved as much as I have without her.

I am completing level 10 flute, and have been taking lessons here for 3 and a half years. Lana has really helped me push myself to work harder and reach my practical musical goals in time for me to go study music in university. She is really flexible with lesson times and always makes up missed lessons. I found that my lesson time was always spent efficiently and helped me to feel fully prepared for every practical examination, even putting extra lessons (when needed) before the exam date.

I worked with Lana at a music school and she is an amazing teacher. Every student she taught had amazing growth and results in their exams. Highly recommended!

Many years ago, in my mid-fifties after retiring, I decided to take up the piano. Of course, at that age there was little chance of ever becoming very skilled at it. But with the help of Lana’s ever patient and encouraging support I’ve been able to persevere and have become able to undertake advanced and very interesting works. As well, aided by Lana’s enthusiasm and interest, it has been fun to explore and enjoy the works of lesser known composers and this has added so much to my pleasure.
