Breathing techniques and exercises are utilized in developing a beautiful, clear, and consistent tone while playing. Diaphragmatic Breathing techniques are utilized to develop proper velocity, volume, angle, and pressure of air when playing the flute. Students will learn to play with well-controlled technique, and complete fluency in the three registers.
The flute is one of the oldest instruments and has been found in many cultures around the world and learning to play develops good breathing techniques, posture, and finger dexterity.
