Lana has 17 years of classical education with over 30 years of teaching experience. 

Lana works with students of all ages, from preschool to seniors providing lessons in all genres of music.

As a registered Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) teacher, Lana utilizes creative strategies to motivate and inspire students while preparing them for RCM examinations.

She believes that every child and adult has a unique learning style, and teaching techniques are personalized through one-on-one lessons.

As the student’s musical skills develop, they also learn improved language abilities, a heightened attention span, increased emotional resilience, and confidence. Lana engages in open dialogue with parents and students about how to develop learning goals and outcomes. These same techniques and methods are used for students that also wish to take lessons just for fun.
